ASSIST

Under the Airport Security System Integrated Support Testing (ASSIST) program, Safe Skies uses its expertise in airport security technologies to deliver product research services, pre-operational evaluations, and airport assessments which are valued resources for commercial service airports seeking objective and practical support to enhance their security operations. A current list of available ASSIST reports can be found here: ASSIST Report List. Qualified airport personnel can access the reports on the DHS - Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN), or request them from anna.hamilton@sskies.org.

Additionally, through the Performance and Operational System Testing (POST) program, Safe Skies conducts long-term evaluations of airport owned equipment to track and document a device or system's performance continuously over its lifecycle.

ASSIST and POST are open to all U.S. commercial service airports that:

  • Possess a TSA-approved Airport Security Program (ASP)
  • Are included in the FAA National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS)
  • Are eligible to receive FAA AIP funding

All testing under the ASSIST and POST programs is conducted and reported in accordance with our ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system. Airports interested in ASSIST or POST evaluations can contact brian.hollis@sskies.org for further discussion. Additional information can be found here: Testing and Evaluation
